We finally got to some better weather so we departed early and headed down the Tennessee River. We experienced fog for the first time in a while, which meant we had to wait a little later than we wanted before leaving in the morning. But eventually the fog cleared to reveal a beautiful day.

we got to enjoy some of the fall color. We didn’t see a single barge. It was a nice day all around. We arrived at Pebble Isle in late afternoon and we were there with only one other transient boat.
